Li-ion is the preferred battery pack to start with.
Reasons
1. Li-ion 18650 cells are available in India(not manufactured but lots of people dealing with it)
2. Li-ion 18650 battery pack manufactures available in India
3. Used in almost all electric unicycle. Fairly happy with the experience and capacity of Li-ion on gotway and ninebot
4. Way more cheaper than LiFePO4
5. Lighter than LiFePO4 for a given energy density

Disadvantage -
1. Could catch fire if mishandled
